Save the Date for the 2026 Natural Capital Symposium

June 29-July 1 at Stanford University

Don’t miss the Natural Capital Project’s 20th anniversary edition of its symposium: this in-person international convening brings together the growing community of public and private sector leaders, researchers, practitioners, and students moving us toward a future where nature is valued in decision-making. This symposium will celebrate 20 years of NatCap, highlight promising innovations, and provide the chance to shape the path to global systems transformation together. Come to build your community, share your insights, and get inspired by global leaders in nature-based approaches to sustainability and prosperity.

Sessions will cover:

  • How governments and international financial institutions are scaling up natural capital approaches in policy, finance, and operations to achieve real impact and better outcomes for people and the planet;
  • The scientific frontiers of this work, including the mental and physical health benefits of nature;
  • The latest InVEST innovations – making it easier than ever to integrate ecosystem services modeling into other applications and opening the door for community contributions to the InVEST Workbench – plus community-led conversations and ecosystem services data and tools more broadly;
  • And much more!

Registration will open in early 2026. Look for a call for abstracts as well. Check for updates here on this page, follow us on LinkedIn, and share with your networks!
