Kiara Fufunan

Kiara (she/her) is a first-year student pursuing a BS in Earth Systems with a Biosphere pathway. From digitizing archival records at the Field Museum to volunteering in community gardens, she has worked closely with organizations based in her hometown Chicago to develop a passion for citizen science, or public participation in scientific research. With a deep interest in interdisciplinary studies, she is dedicated to promoting the accessibility of scientific knowledge for the general public.
