Natasha Batista

Natasha (she/her) is a research associate and geospatial analyst for the Natural Capital Project. Her role encompasses research on natural capital assessments, modeling of ecosystem services, data management, and software trainings. Natasha’s interests lie in conservation, environmental sustainability, education, and social impact. She earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Earth Systems with a focus on Marine Science and Policy at Stanford University. Prior to joining NatCap, Natasha worked as a MUIR Fellow for the Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions investigating the impacts Palau's new marine protected area on food security.
